Before an order can be fulfilled, brands often have to resolve bad addresses, combine duplicate orders, or make other corrections. These manual tasks eat up time and create risk for errors.

“We call it a success if a merchant doesn’t have to do anything to prep their orders before fulfilling,” said Suz. “That’s our goal. Let them just open the dashboard and start fulfilling.”

2. Inefficiencies in the Fulfillment Process

Most teams fulfill based on the order a purchase was placed, rather than optimizing for what makes fulfillment faster. Picking can become chaotic, and small inefficiencies add up quickly.

3. Shipping Costs That Are Hard to Control

Address Correction Using AI

“Merchants never have to worry about bad addresses again,” said Suz. “We had one merchant with 102 address corrections in 30 days. That’s 102 headaches avoided.”

Auto-Merge for Orders

When customers place multiple orders in a short time window, Redo merges them automatically using customizable rules. This reduces the number of labels a merchant has to buy and prevents wasteful packaging.

“One of our merchants was spending 45 minutes a day merging orders. With auto-merge, they now save $7,000 a month,” Suz shared. “They never even have to think about it.”

Another merchant doing 5,000 orders a month saved $15,000 in a single month by enabling auto-merge for the first time.

Bulk Shipping by SKU

Redo changes the way fulfillment is batched. Instead of processing orders by the time they came in, brands can group and fulfill orders by the item.

“One merchant had 34 shipments for the same item,” said Suz. “Redo helped them fulfill all 34 at once instead of going back to the same bin all day.”

This batching approach led to a 75 percent reduction in fulfillment time for some brands. Fewer trips to storage bins and fewer mistakes means faster delivery and happier teams.

Smart Carrier Selection

Redo’s OMS uses logic to automatically select the best carrier and service level based on what the customer selected at checkout.

“You’re not guessing anymore,” said Suz. “Redo rate-shops for you and picks the best option. That means fewer mistakes and lower costs.”

“One of our merchants told us that 90 percent of their fulfillment process is gone,” said Suz. “They’re down to 10 percent of the time and effort it used to take.”

“We’re building a warehouse map that allows for real route optimization,” said Suz. “Most WMS tools aren’t actually smart about your layout. We’re fixing that.”

With Redo’s WMS, brands can upload their floor plans or manually build a map, and Redo will optimize picking routes based on proximity and density. This allows pickers to grab more orders in less time without unnecessary steps.
